This policy explains what this website stores in your browser, and what it does not. It applies to every language version of the site.
It is published in English, Dutch and Arabic. In case of any difference between the language versions, the Dutch text prevails.
Article 1What this policy covers
Cookies are small files a website places in your browser. Similar techniques, such as local storage and session storage, keep information in your browser in much the same way. Dutch law (article 11.7a of the Telecommunications Act) treats them alike: storing information on your device, or reading it from there, requires your consent, unless it serves only to transmit a communication or is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for.
Article 2No tracking
This site places no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it loads nothing from third parties: no trackers, social media buttons, embedded videos or maps. Its typefaces are served from the site’s own domain, so opening a page does not contact a font provider. We build no profile of your visit.
When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider does record technical data in server logs. That places nothing on your device; the Privacy statement explains what those logs contain and how long they are kept.
Article 3The one item this site stores
The site stores one technical item in your browser’s session storage, named “dukaat-intro”, with the value “1”. It records only that the opening animation on the home page has been shown during this visit, so that the animation does not play again each time you return to the home page.
The item contains no personal data, cannot be read by other websites and is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted automatically when you close the tab. Because it serves only the working of the page during your visit and has no other use, it needs no consent.
Article 4The intake form
The intake form uses no cookies. What you type stays in your browser until you press send; only then are the fields sent, through our e-mail delivery provider, to our mailbox. Nothing is kept on this website itself. The Privacy statement explains how we handle your message.
Article 5Your browser settings
Your browser’s settings show what a website has stored and let you delete it, usually under privacy or site data. If you block or delete the item described in article 3, the site works exactly as before; the opening animation simply plays again.
Article 6Consent comes first
Consent comes before any cookie that requires it. Such a cookie, or a similar technique, is placed only after you have agreed; refusing is as easy as accepting; the site remains fully usable if you refuse; and this policy names every such item, with its purpose, its duration and the party that places it.
Article 7Contact
Questions about this policy go to [enquiries@ — domain pending]. We update it whenever the site changes what it stores; the version date at the top shows which text applies.
